Mr. J. K. Vora is a renowned surgeon; he has done hundreds of surgeries and has a 100 percent success record—a special streak. He is living a happy life and preparing for her daughter's marriage. All is going well until a don asks for protection money. Mr. Vora is an ethical and idealistic man and refuses to pay the thugs. A scuffle leads to the goons firing at Mr. Vora, but in this mess, Roshni is shot. Roshni is rushed to the hospital. Upon the diagnosis, it is found that one bullet is stuck in the back of Roshni, and if it's removed with surgery, then her chances of survival are very slim. Roshni tells her father not to do the surgery and keep her hostage in the hospital; instead, let her live her final few days in peace, at home with her loved ones. Mr. Vora, the one who has saved thousands through his surgery, is reluctant, on the other hand. He wants her to be treated well and saved.

This conflict makes Roshni go to court and file a case against the idea of surgery.
